Moorings Hotel enjoys a spectacular outlook over Port Vila Harbour and we are a popular spot for weddings. We also throw a pretty good party be it reception, bucks or hens! BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

General Terms & Conditions

Special terms and conditions can be negotiated with the General Manager on a case by case basis.

  • All payments can be made in either Australian Dollars (AUD), New Zealand Dollars (NZD), or Vatu (VUV).
  • A credit card or cash bond must be made available to the hotel at the time of check in to cover meal charges and other incidentals. The bond will be returned at the time of finalisation of the customers account at check out.
  • Bookings made via credit approved third party agents should refer to the booking & cancelation conditions supplied by the agent. All other customers of Moorings Hotel are bound by the following terms and conditions. (note: if you are unsure of the status of the agents through whom you wish to book, please contact the hotel for verification via the contacts listed on this page)

Booking Conditions

  • For customers booking direct with the hotel, booking confirmations will only be issued upon the receipt of a 10% deposit. (We recommend faxing credit card details to +678 22172)
  • Group bookings (4 or more rooms) are required to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
  • Non credit approved agents must pay 100% of the accommodation payments at least two weeks prior to the arrival of the guests.
  • Balance of accommodation payment is due at check in or at check out by special arrangement with the General Manager.

Cancelation Conditions 

  • Cancelations made more than two weeks prior to arrival are entitled to a full refund.
  • Cancelations made between one week and two weeks are liable to pay 10% of the booking value
  • Cancelations made within a week of arrival or who fail to give notice are liable to pay the full value of the booking.
  • Cancelations need to be made in writing, including email, letter or fax. A return acknowledgment will always be issued by the hotel.
